A two-fold mechanism ensures that the mattress is only folded once rather than twice, as is the case on cheaper and inferior mechanisms.
All Gainsborough sofa beds (except Aztec) are supplied with a fully sprung 13½ gauge mattress, with comfort layers of hypo-allergenic bonded polyester encased in an attractive cover which is then tufted to ensure maximum comfort and durability.
